925 sterling silver

Sterling darkens over time when it meets air. That's normal and reversible. Polish with the cloth in your box until the shine returns. Skip dips and chemical cleaners, which strip the surface. Store in the pouch with the air pressed out.

Stainless steel and PVD gold

The most durable thing we sell. Shower in it, swim in it, sleep in it. Rinse with fresh water after the sea and dry before storing.

Gold plated over brass

Plating is a surface, and surfaces wear. Take it off before showering, swimming and sleeping. Put it on last, after perfume and hairspray. Treated this way it holds its colour for years.

Gold plated over copper

The most delicate finish we carry. Keep it dry — no shower, no pool, no sea. Wipe with a dry cloth after wearing and store in the pouch. It's made for occasions and light wear rather than every day.

Stones

Zircon and cubic zirconia cloud when they meet perfume, hairspray and hand cream. Wipe with a dry cloth. Never use an ultrasonic cleaner on a set stone.
